Pastor Crystal Karr

I am Rev. Crystal Karr, and I am honored to be serving as Senior Pastor for Ebenezer and Clair. I am originally from a small town in Northeast Iowa. I received my bachelor’s in communications from Iowa Wesleyan College, and my master’s in Divinity from Saint Paul School of Theology. I was ordained as an Elder in the Missouri conference, and I am also a board-certified chaplain.

I have been married to my husband Charles Karr for over 18 years, and I have a 17-year-old son who is a senior in High School. I also have a little pug named Odie who travels with me.

I have been a Senior Pastor in the United Methodist Church for over 14 years, serving at various churches in the northwest district of Missouri. I enjoy fishing, swimming, and waterfalls. My favorite season is summer, and I love the beach.

I am looking forward to working with the people of St. Joseph through Ebenezer and Clair. We always remember that “we can do all thing through Christ who strengthens me”. (Philippians 4:13)
